STOP NEGATIVE THOUGHTS WITH THE SPIN AND WIN TECHNIQUE

 The Spin and Win Technique

Here are the specific step to reduce any negative feelings. Think of any negative feeling or thought that's connected to a feeling and learn these easy steps to begin to change how you feel and reduce down that difficult painful feeling..... this is an amazing technique to immediately reduce those beastly feelings.

Let’s begin:

1.        Think of a situation that triggers the scared feeling. Where does that scared feeling start? Where in your body would be the first time that you’re aware of that scared feeling? Quite often, people say in their stomachs, but usually, that’s where it ends up, so I really want you to tune in and ask yourself where this scared feeling starts?

Is it in your forehead? Or your throat or in your chest, and then moves to the knot in your stomach? This would be the path of the feeling.

2.        For that scared feeling to remain there, it would have to spin forward or backward or to the right or the left because, geometrically, those are the only two possibilities.

If you aren’t sure or if you think it isn’t moving at all, then I really want you to tune into that scared feeling and ask yourself which way it’s spiraling.

3.        Now take either index finger and move it in a circle clockwise or anticlockwise, whichever way the scared feeling is moving, really get in tune with it. Imagine a circle with arrows, give the circle color, make it red, and spin the circle moving whichever way the scared feeling is moving.

4.        Now, reverse the direction of the spin: Now make the circle purple and spin it in the opposite direction, next spin it faster, now faster still, and notice what happens, the scared feeling will start to spin backward faster and lessen.
